Introduction to the special Session:
We are planning a session "Robot Conpetition" at SCIS-ISIS2012. Robot Contest is the field of engineering research and education which aims to encourage young engineers and to train them, and is also the field of development and spread of various technologies through the competition. In this session, we are looking for presentations that target every contest including research-based robot contest such as RoboCup, Tsukuba Challenge, DARPA Grand Challenge, and also micromouse, robot-sumo and NHK robot contest and so on.
We are striving an open and livsely scientific session by bringing together researchers, engineers and practitioners with robot contest backgrounds. We would like to discuss and disseminate the latest state-of-the-art achievements including the results of basic researches and applied researches whether are the software-based and hardware-based researches, and also including engineering education. We welcome submissions from researchers of company and university, and from students of university, junior college and college.
If you would like to submit your paper, please let us know in advance information of the speakers below no later than 24th June.
